またもや放置してとんずらしてました。しかも丸々1ヶ月…。
本当に毎度のことでごめんなさい。。。

Sorry, I hibernated updating this blog whole a month...

仕事が立て込んだりプライベートの用事を優先したりしていたんですが、
それでも編む時間はあまり削らないようにしていたせいか
Morticiaは11月5日に完成。その後は同じboo-knitsさんのPremonitionにチャレンジ。
こっちもあと3,4日で完成するかなってところだったりします。

While the hibernating time, I kept time to knit though my jobs and private events had being heavy.So, Morticia was completed on 5th November. After that, now I have tried Premonition by boo-knits, that is same as Morticia.I suppose that Premonition will finish within 3-4 days.

 

 



例のカーディガンは完成直前で完全放置してます。
というか、実はドレープがごつくて、きれいじゃないの…。
今のままじゃ、正直自分でもあまり着たくないんだな。。。
なのでそのうち全部ほどいて別の糸で編み直すつもりです。

Ah…., Vitamin D has been hibernated completely. To tell the truth, that drapes are not beautiful but ugly, I don’t want to wear it if it completed.So I will undo and retry it with another yarns.
 
で。久々ですがMorticiaは既に完成していて、今月上旬から実際に使って楽しんでます。
MKALだったのですが、途中Clockworkを完成させたりしていたので
かかった日数は大体1ヶ月。予定に近い感じに終わらせることができました♪
些細なことだけど、こういうことって私にとっては嬉しいことだったりします。

By the way, Motirica has completed and I enjoy wearing it from upper November.
It’s a MKAL by boo-knits in autumn of 2013. My knitting term of it was almost a month, I was able to finish it almost on schedule.
This is very tiny point, but I’m very glad to be able to end it.
 
でもねー、最後のほうはやっぱり苦しかったー！
ピコットを作りながらのバインドオフ。これを理解するまでに2日かかりました。
そもそもPicot BOなんて目にするのも初めてだったし。ホント、YouTube様サマです。

But, that’s bind-off was very hard for me! Morticia uses a picot bind-off, but it was first time to see that. I needed 2 days to understand it.
Truly thanks, YouTube!!!

あとはビーズの編み込みね。正確には数えてないけれど、全部で800個以上編み込んだはず。
booさんショールは好きなのでeBookを買ったんだけど（それもあって今Premonitionを編んでたりします）、
この編み込みビーズとピコットBOはbooさんの作品を作る上で避けて通れない様子。
とはいえ初心者にはしんどかったですよ 。。。

And beads knitting was also heavy… I didn’t count how much beads knits to Morticia, but suppose it used over 800 beads.
I like her design, so I bought her e-book on October. Judging from the contents of the book, these techniques may be must one hope to knit her design.
But to realize both of them were very heavy for a beginner, that is me.



ま。そんなことも終わってしまえば過去のこと。
出来上がりはなかなか素敵！…なんだけどー、なかなかカッコよく着こなすのは難しいのも事実。
基本折りたたんでマフラーとして使ってます。でもカワイイよ 。

Anyway, that is already past. I enjoyed knitting it and satisfy the shawl~...however I suppose this shape is difficult to wear cool, I fold it and use it as a muffler. Very cute♪

と、色々書いてきたけれど、まとめると、「大変だったけど楽しかったし大満足」かな。

To gather above, Morticia was “hard to knit for me, but time to knit it was very fun”. Totally I’m very satisfy this MKAL


12月から落ち着くのでまた更新がんばります。

前の更新から約2週間放置してしまいました…。ごめんなさい。。

Sorry…I hibernated about 2 weeks since previous updating.

というのも…Morticia、Vitamin Dがまだ完成していないにも関わらず
Stephen WestさんのClockworkに着手してしまったからでして。。。
しかもClockworkはマイルールで時間制限を設けてしまってですね。。。

Because I started another project "Clockwork" created by Stephen West nonetheless the projects of Morticia & Vitamin D didn't complete In addition, this project has a dead-line which I decided.

そのため、火曜日にMorticiaのClue3が届いたけれどこっちはおあずけで
今はガリガリとClockworkを進めていました。

That’s why I have stopped to try Morticia since 10th Oct and knitted Clockwork strictly though I received clue3 of Morticia last Tuesday.

 



このClockwork、噂に聞いていた通り編み方はかなり簡単。
おそらく（表編みと裏編みしか出来なかった）5月時点の私でも編めたかも。
ただただ根気があれば誰でも編めるんだけど、
デザインがステキなんですよね～。スゴイわ、ステファンさん！

You may know that the Clockwork is very famous pattern in raverly. And before I started, I heard that Clockwork was easy to knit even by beginners.
In fact, I learned only 2 stiches at the time of May; a knit stitch and a purl stitch, but I suppose I could enjoy this pattern at that time. But the design is excellent. I suppose that Stephen is so grate!!

そんなClockworkですが、昨日編み終わって、今日ブロッキング。
そして明日は彼氏さんの手に渡ります。

That my 'Clockwork' finally was finished yesterday and blocked today. And it's going to present my steady.  

明日、着画を撮らせてもらおーっと♪

I will take a phote which he wears the shawl♪   


Clockworkが終わったので来週からまた更新がんばります。。。

Vitamin Dはようやく全体が出来上がりました♪いよいよ佳境かも。
あとは袖はぎと糸処理と水通し。…まだ色々残ってます。

My project of Vitamin D is almost finished and seems to be finally climax♪ Remains of the work are putting the edges of the sleeves together, treating threads and blocking. Many things have been left yet...

 
 


Aterier Knitsさんの説明だと、
ちょっと細めの糸のほうがドレープ部分がはっきり出るってあったんだけど
私が使った糸はむしろアランセーターでも編めそうなもの。
ドレープがきれいに出てきたかちょっと心配が残ります。

According to an introduction by Aterier Knits from which I bought a translated pattern for Japanese, a little thin yarns are suitable for this product to make clear drapes. But I use  yarns which seems to be suitable for aran sweaters. I worry whether I could knit beautiful drapes.

あとは袖のはぎ。
はぐことも初めてなので、結構四苦八苦するんだろうな…。
でもここまで来たら頑張るしかないよね＾＾

And I haven't combine pieces together, so I suppose putting sleeves together is difficult for me... But I can only do my best :)

MORTICIAの1st clueが昨日の夜終わりました。
トータルで3日、実質10時間位。なんだかすこーし物足りない気分です。

I finished the clue 1 of Morticia last night. It took totaly 3days;substantialy approximately 10 hours. I want to go on with it more...

というのも、この後からビーズを通すことが楽しくて♪
もっとビーズを通したい気分になってます。

Because I felt that inserting beads before knitting was very exiting;) I would like to be continuing to knit beads more and more.

とりあえず、出来上がりの部分写真は下のような感じ。
トップダウンのショールなので、写真は中央部分になります。

By the way, below photo is the clue 1 completing. This shawl's cast-on uses a gather stich tub CO and is a top-down. Therefore, below is center part of whole .

MORTICIAは残りあと10段を切ったので、今日はお休み。
Vitamin Dに戻ってきました。

Rest of MORTICIA's clue1 are less than 10 rows, so I cancel to knit it.
Today, I return to Vitamin D.

前から気になっていたトルソーも昨日届きました。
前々から欲しいと思っていたけど、飽きっぽい性格なので
この趣味が長続きするかどうか不安でなかなか買えなかったの。
でも楽天が優勝してポイントが10倍だったので買ってしまいました。

And a torso arrived yesterday.To tell the truth, I wanted to get a torso for knitting since this late spring. But I hesitated about buying it because I am very fickle. I was afraid whether I didn't get tired of knitting. Last week, the Rakuten Eagles which is Japanese professional baseball team won a championship and the Rakuten which is a huge shopping web site of Japan was having a championhsip sall, so I bought it at last.

今日はトルソーにVitamin Dを着せてみてどんな感じになっているのかチェック。
何となくだけど、丈が予想より短めになりそーな気配。
それにしてもトルソー、ハデ～！ホント、チャイニーズドレスみたい。

I had the torso wear my VItamin D because of confirming the condition of it. Its length feels short than I expected. And yet, it is veeery flamboyant like as a chinese dress! 

     
 


ひとまず最後の掛目パートに入りました。規定通りだと繰り返しはあと2回。
規定通りに編んで足りなかったらここで増やしてみようと思ってます。

Now I have knitted a part of last YO & K. I need to repeat them 2 times if I knit it according to a chart. But if I want to lengthen it more, I will repeat them more.

目数が増えているせいで思っていたより時間がかかりそうです。

Because of increasing stitches in a row, I need time to complete it more than I expected.
