あけましておめでとうございます♪
…ってもう1週間建っちゃったけど。。。￣▽￣;

早速ですがごめんなさい。今年は更新を日本語だけにします。
背伸びはよくないし、英語のせいで更新が滞るのも、ね。

今年は元旦から仕事だったものであまりお正月気分もなく、
その分編み物に関しては相変わらずのんびりと進めさせてもらってます＾＾

でも、1月2日には仕事帰りにムーリットさんに行ってきたんですよ。
この本読んで、ずーっと言ってみたいと思っていたんですよね。



ひょっとしたら初売りあるかしら？という姑息な期待も、実はあり。
でも、その期待はあっけなく砕けて普通にお店開いてましたね、うん。

近くに同じような海外糸のセレクトショップKEITOさんもあるんで
単純に私的な感想だけ言えば、
糸と立地はムーリットさん、それ以外はKEITOさんって感じを受けました。

糸だけなら明らかにムーリットさんが好きなんですが…うん。。。

本を読んでコンセプトは理解していたのでアレなんだけど、
色んな意味でもう少しフレンドリーだとありがたいお店かなぁ。

ま、お正月に働く気持ちが分からないでもないし、
行く前にリサーチしすぎて私の期待値が高くなりすぎていたのかも。

とはいえ、せっかく行ったことだし
イサガーのアルパカ1（タンジェリン）を2玉買ってきました。
やっぱり糸はKEITOさんよりも好み。

 

あ。ペンディング中のようなVitamin Dは
1つ袖が編みおわって2つめの袖の途中まできました♪
早く袖を終わらせてW&Tに入りたいなぁ～。

michiyoさんのフーディッドカーディガンですが、
袖が減らす段階になって気付いたことがありました。
どうも、ゲージを取り間違えていたみたいです。
ってことで、振り出しに戻りました。以上！

Today, I tell you information of my challenge to michiyo’s cardigan. When starting decrease-section of sleeves, I noticed that I made a mistake…I knitted a swatch with a wrong pattern, therefore I need to return to the start...That's all!!
 
そんなわけでモチベーションがダダすべり。
気分を飼えて12/26からVitamin Dに挑んでいます。
こっちはこっちで糸を選択ミスした過去があり、
完成間近で断念した過去があるいわく付きだったりします。

So my energy for that cardigan was empty. Now, I have been knitting Vitamin D since 26th December, which I gave up its completion in this autumn because I choose an unmatched yarn.

今回はピエロさんのアルルのシフォンなる糸を選んで編んでいます。
柔らかいし、これが完成したら気持ちよさそう♪
まだヨーク部分だけど、かなり良さげな感触がありますよ～。

I use yarns named Arles Chiffon by Pierrot yarn. The yarn is very soft, I suppose that Vitamin D knitted with this yarn would be comfortable very much. Now I knit the york section, but I feel this is fairly good~.

 



今度こそちゃんと完成しますよーに！！

クリスマスまであとわずか。
昨日の夜から父へのクリスマスプレゼントに帽子を編むことにしました。
今回は前にClockworkを編んだ時の余りの毛糸、
毛糸ZAKKAストアーズさんのグランディールを使ってます。
実物はもっと茶色掛かっていますが、男性には合う色です。

Xmas is coming soon. I started knitting a hat to father for a gift from last night. At this time, I use a rest ball of Clockwork; Grandir of Keito-ZAKKA-Stores. The original is blowner, but I feel that this color becomes men.

わーい、完成です♪
父の頭囲は知らないけど、この帽子なら合うに違いない。

I made it~!! I don't know how long father's head measurement is, but I'm sure that the hat fits with him.

クリスマスプレゼント用のPremonitionが完成しました。
写真がヘタっぴで申し訳ないけど、
ホント、この四角いショールはキレイだし使い勝手がいいんですよー。
左の写真のほうが実物に近い色です。

Premonition for the Xmas gift to mother-in-low is finished. I'm not good at taking photes, but this squere shawl is really very beautiful & convenient. Left photo is approximation to the original color.




先端部分はレースパターンが含まれてるものの、
主な部分はほとんどメリヤスだし。
毛糸がフカフカなので結構温かいのもお気に入りポイントの1つです。

Both tips are contains with some lace patterns, but main part is almost stocking stitches. And yarns (Dying Rose, Baby Alpaca/Silk 2ply by DyeForWool) is very soft wool, so it's warm than it looks.

そうそう、問題のピコットBOですが見つけちゃいました！
手持ちの林ことみさんの本「おしゃべりKnit 」に文章だけですが
日本語で解説されていたものがあったんです。
今まで気づかなかったんて、おバカ～（；；

Ah, I finally found explanation how to do the picot BO in Japanese! It contains a book that I bought before titled "Oshaberi-Knit" by Kotomi Hayashi. How foolish I am not to notice this...



ってことで、今回はピコットBOもちゃんとできました＾＾
結果良ければすべて良し！

That's why I could do picot BO correctly:) The end justifies the means!


そろそろ手袋とかリストウォーマーが編みたいです。。。

手持ちの何かウェアを編もう！とせっせとゲージを色々と編んでます。

Nowadays, I have made swatches to knit something to wear.

   　 

大体の方が同じだと勝手に思い込んでるんですが、
私も本や見本通りの糸で編むことがほとんどないんですよねぇ。。。

As many other knitters, maybe, I hardly use a same yarn as a recommended yarn in a book.
That’s why I almost knit shawls because it’s not mandatory to make sure size before starting a project.

ともかく今はゲージを編んで、計算、計算、また計算！！シンドイわぁ…。

Therefore I need to CALCULATE, CALCULATE, and CALCULATE!! That’s ‘shindoi~’.

そんなことを繰り返して、ようやく1つ良さそうなものを見つけました。

After making some of them, finaly I found a suitable pattern for the one of my stashed yarn.

michiyoさんのフーディッドカーディガン。
これを毛糸ピエロさんのリトルガーデンで編むことにします。
甘撚りの糸なのでちゃんと模様がでるか心配だけど、
それよりは編むことに意義がある。練習あるのみです！！

That pattern is 'Cardigan with Hood' designed by miyayo usinig Little Garden with Pierrot Yarn. It looks like a weak twisted yarn , so I worry about if the patterns appear clearly.
But, the most important thing is knitting something to wear, not a shawl. Including the calculation, that’s a practice to knit for me.

…あれ？？なんか、前にも言った気が。。。ま、いっか。

Hmm, I might say same thing...? But, don't mind:p

早速、袖を同時に編んでたりします。
ちょうどいい棒針がないから輪針で代用＾＾；
年明けに出来上がったらいいな～♪

Rapidly, I knit a pair of sleeve at the same time... I don't have a suitable stick needle, so I'm using a circlure one instead of it;p I hope it would complete in early in the new year~♪
