本日ようやくMayan Gardenが完成しました～☆
実を言えば173段目で何度も失敗してその都度諦めかけたので、
このショールが完成したこと自体がすごく嬉しいです。

MKAL Mayan Garden was completed at last today~! To tell the truth, I was giving up this MKAL's completion repeatedly because of failure of row 173, so I'm really glad to finish it.

デザインは個性が強いけど、色を抑えたので会社でも使えるかな。

This shawl's design is a littie uniqueness, but I knitted it by acceptable color combination. So I think I can wear this in the office.

天気が曇っていたので水通しをどうするか迷ったけど、
風があったので早速水通しをしてブロッキングしました。
ブロッキングしたら形がはっきり出てきてテンションあがりまくりです。

I blokced the shawl today even though it was cloudy. Today was  windy, therefore it dried quickly. Its shape appeared clearly after blocking and I was excited to look at and pin it.
 
 

  
前に編んだ、同じKitmanさんのDamaskと比べるとこっちのほうが難しかったかも。
私にとってこのパターンはねじり目（＝M1kとM1p）がすごく多かったです。
おかげでねじり目はもう怖くなくなったかな。

Mayan Garden is more difficult for me than Damask.(Both are designed by Kitman Figeroa)  M1k and M1p are used too many times in this pattern, and this shawl  became a good study of these stiches for me. As a result, I'm not afraid of them now.

とりあえず終わって良かったぁ♪　そろそろboo-knitsさんのMKALの準備しなきゃね。

I feel releived by completing it now and am going to prepare starting next MKAL by boo-knits in October.

まるまる1ヶ月かかっているMayan Gardenも遂に終わりが見えてきた！
あの辛かった173段も今回は無事突破、残り10段を切りました。
さすがに1段の目数が多いのと、模様が細かいのとで
残りが数段でも今日中に終わらせるのはちょっとしんどいかな。

Mayan Garden is finishing soon, that rest is 10 or less rows. But stiches in a row are over 400 and lace knitting of the edge is complex, so I think I cannot complete the shawl within today.

あとねー…最初に勘違いして裏面に回ってしまっているビーズが結構あるので
2～3段編んで疲れるとビーズの位置を直すって感じで進めてます。
そんな感じなので、相変わらずのたりのたりと進めています（＾＾；

And many beads have come out  in a wrong side. I have repeated to mend a part of them after knitting a few rows.
 
   


 

写真じゃ見えにくいけど、今回私は金色のビーズを使っています。
始める前はこの色合わせを考えるだけでワクワクしてたっけ。

Although it is unclear with a photo, I use shiny golden beads in above fot it.  I was excited at choosing color selection of yarn and beads before knitting shawl.

今のペースだと、次に更新するときは完成した写真を載せられると思います。
途中で嫌になったときもあったけど、
終わりが見えてくると嬉しい反面少し寂しい気分になります。他の人もそうなのかな？

I suppose Mayan Garden will finish by next update if progress keeps at the present pace. I sometimes wished to resign it on the way, but  it is almost end. Now I feel happy and sad at finishing it. Do other knitter feel same emotion as me when their project is almost finishing?

しばらく放置していたMayan Garden。
173段のC2FPで目を落としてまったくやる気をうしなっていたけれど
やっと向き合う気になりました。

I had been hibernating Mayan Garden for a while because of dropping a few stiches in row 173 and undoing about 10 rows. But I have resumed it today at last.
 
  


編み針を通しなおすので約2時間。
かなり解いたように感じたけど、1段が370目近くあったせいだったみたいで
結局10段弱戻っただけで済みました。
でもラーメンもどきは1玉近くでたかも（＾＾；

It was approximately 2 hours to insert a cable needle to stiches again. I felt that many rows had been undoing, but actually loosened rows are less than 10.

今度は165段目からスタートです。
来月から違うショールを編む予定なので頑張らなきゃ！

I restarted it in row 165. I am going to knit other shawl, so I want to finish this in this month. Cheer up me!!

前回から約1週間。昨日両袖が編み終わりました♪
袖が編み終わった時点でかさばる状態になったので、最近は家編みが増えました。

About one week has passed since last update. I finished to knit sleeves yesterday. My product came to be bulky after finishing a sleeve, I have stayied at home and knit it more often. 


 
今日からW&Tがある見頃に突入したものの、引き返し編み自体が初めてなので
それを逆手にとってドイツ式の引き返し編みでやることにしました。

Today I started the body part including the W&T stiches. However I have never challenged " Hikikaeshi-ami" that is same as Japanese W&T. I turned that to my own advantage and decided to knit the W&T stiches using German style.  
 
今のところ順調…なはず。
いかんせん色々な面で初めてづくしなのでまったく油断が出来ないです。。。

At present, I suppose it should be favorably. But this project is the first challenge for me in various situations, so that I cannot be inattentive...

   


足のほうは全治2週間です。その間に終わらせたいな。

昨日の夜からVitamin Dに着手。
…Mayan Gardenはまた173段目で目を落としちゃって
150段位まで戻る羽目になってしまって今はやる気エンプティ。
もー連休明けまではVitamin Dだけ編みます。

I started Vitamin D last night, and hibernated Mayan Garden for a while because I had dropped a stich on row173 again. Now I'm depressed and don't want to knit Mayan Garden...
 
でもって、Vitamin D♪ 今はまだ楽しい段階です。
二の腕が太めなのでサイズはM1にしました。

On the other hand, I enjoy knitting Vitamin D♪ Since the upper arms were thick, I chose size M1. 
 
今、ヨーク部分のちょうど半分位まで終わったんだけど、ここで1玉終了。
写真を見てたらなんだかゼスプリゴールドが食べたくなりました。。。

I am knitting  the yoke now and a ball is completed at least in the half of the yoke.

   



途中からは難関っぽい匂いがプンプンする引き返し編みがあるらしいけど
もちろん、私がその編み方を知ってるわけはないわけで（＾＾；
…困難が待ち構えているけれど、今はまだまだ楽しいです♪

I got know that using W&T stich is required to complete Vitamin D. Of course, I should not know how to knit it!  Although the problem is waiting, I am still pleasant to knit Vitamin D. 


Mayan Gardenから終わらせる予定だったのにな。。。
