やっと完成しました！
DyeForYarnのMulberry Silk 2ply(Ex-Parrot)で編んだ
boo-knitsさんデザインのPremonitionです♪

I made it! I finish Premonition by boo-knits with DyeForYarn Mulberry Silk 2ply(Ex-Parrot)!!

 

　 

残った糸はたった3g。ほぼ使い切りました！
昨日、水通しをしてブロッキングをしたら大体2m程の長さになっていました。
…ブロッキングへたっぴなんで、ピコットが丸まっちゃってます。。。
とりあえずレース部分はこんな感じ程度に見てもらえれば＾＾；

The rest of yarns is only 3g. I almost use a skein, whole length is aproximately 2m. Ummm, I could'nt block well, especially picots, sorry... Please refer lace parts in below.......

 

ともあれ、もー、すっごく柔らかいですよ、Mulberry Silk!!
シルクの糸で編んだものってこんなに柔らかいんですね～。
ホントーにうっとりものです…♪

Anyway, this yarn is veeery soft♪ This work is the first I knitted something with silk yarns, and I'm surprized that the silk is so comfortable and gentle~.

編み終わってみると、この10日間は
すっごく楽しい時間を過ごさせてもらったように思います。
それと、こうやってモニターとして一定期間に何かを仕上げる
っていうのはいい経験になりました。

After finishing this test knitting, I feel that I enjoyed with this yarn and knitting time for 10days was very fun. An experience which I need to finish knitting for limited term as a test knitter is so useful for me.

糸についての感想は今までも書いてきた通りです。
モニターとして、少し悪いこともそのまま書きましたが、
出来上がったものの触り心地を知ったら
全て忘れちゃうくらい、素晴らしくって驚いちゃいました。

I already wrote my feeling of this yarn in previous articles.
I wrote a few wrong impressions for the yarn because I was a tester of the yarn, but I forget all of them after I know the touch of the finished project with this yarn!

実は、このマフラーのデザイナーのboo-knitsさんが
DyeForYarnの糸はいいよ～って感じのことを書いているのを
彼女のグループで読んだことがありました。
今ならそれが分かります。

Well, I saw before that boo-knits, who designed this pattern, wrote that she loved DyeForYarn in her group in raverly. I realize it now.
 
最後になりますが、
このような機会を与えてくださったYarnaholicさんに感謝！
DyeForYarn以外でも魅力的な海外の糸を
積極的に取り寄せてくださっている素敵なお店です。
私もボーナスが入った後にまた購入させていただくつもりだったりします。

Yarnaholicさんのモニターさん編み編み期間終了まであと4日。
現在は全体の4/5が終わったところ位です。
が、残り20%でもレース編みやビーズ入れがあるのでまだまだ油断大敵な状態が続いてます。

Limit of the test knitting of Yarnaholic is coming soon. Now, the rest is just 4 days. Now, approximately 4/5 of whole project is done. Though the rest is only 20%, I don't ease my mind yet because I need to knit lace pattern and insert over 100 beads in that part..



最初、この糸がピエロさんのコットンニィート（S）に似ている
なんて書いたけど、それは間違った印象でした。
まぁ見た感じ、糸の撚り具合なんかは似てる…かな？
上からコットンニィート、Mulberry Silk、Aplaca/Silk（DyeForWool）です。

Before few days, I wrote the yarn was alike Cotton Neat(S) of Pierrot Yarn, but it was a wrong impression. Below is a photo which I compared the testing yarn and other 2yarns; upper is Cotton Neat(S), middle is testing yarn, and bottom is Alpaca/Silk by DyeForWool. Regarding twisting condition, testing yarn is a little similar to Cotton Neat(S).



DyeForYarnのMulberry Silkはとっても柔らかくて心地よくてうっとり。
Yarnaholicさんのテストニッターに選んでいただいたおかげで、
絹糸の編み物っていうのがとっても柔らかくて滑らかなことを知りました。
ファンが多いの、わかります。

DyeForYarn's Mulberry Silk is so gentle and comfortable. I could notice that silk knitting product is very smooth and soft because I was chosen a test knitter. I understand that the yarns are loved by many fan in the world.
  
但しですねー。。。色落ちの問題はやっぱり…というところです。
今回は竹針を使っていますが、針先が軽く青く染まっています。
この手の手染めの毛糸はスチール製の編み針が良いのかも。

However…a problem of discoloring actually exists. I'm using bamboo needles in the project and both top of them are transferred to light blue now. Through this experience, I noticed that steel is best than the other materials if I knit with hand-dyed yarns.


ともあれ、6日編み終わり、7日水通しの予定です。
無事スケジュール通りに運ぶかな？？
早く終わらせて他のモニターさんの作品見たいわ～。。。

Anyway, I'm going to finish knitting the project on Dec 6 and to soak it on Dec 7. Can I make it on time? I want to watch other test knitter's work on their blog after my project is done!


これからもう片っぽの先端部分に入りまーす。

Yarnaholicさんのモニターで編んでいる作品ですが、
やっとこさBlock AからFまで終わりました。
計画だと昨日のうちに終わっていたはずなんだけど、…押してるなぁ。。。
他のテストニッターさんのブログもチェックしたいけど
時間がカツカツでチェックできてないのが哀しい～。。。

I finished Block A to F of Premonition, which is a project with testing yarn (DyeForYarn's Mulberry silk 2play Ex-Pallot)  from Yarnaholic, today. In my schedule, it would be done yesterday. I want  check other test knitter of Yarnaholic indeed, but I have no time to do so...



というのも、目が落ちたせいで10段程戻る羽目になったから。
毎度のことなので、それほど落ち込みもないけどそれでいいのかな？
あとはあるある的な感じで、仕事がなぜか立て込んできたりしてます。
なんでなんだろうね、これ。。。

Because I fall some stitches and undo aproixmately 10rows. It's common for me, so my disappointment is not so deep. And my work is also due to be delay...Why?

   
 
で、彼是3日。延べ時間10時間ほど編んでみての糸の感想は下の3点です。
・確かに割れやすいし滑る
・はっきりした編み目
・色ムラが結構ある

I have been knitting for 3days, totally about 10hours.So, my feelings to the testing yarn is in below.
* it's surely easy to break and to slip
* stitches appears cleary
* it has several parts of unevenness coloring


ま、割れやすいし滑りやすいってのはシルクにはよくあると聞いていたし、
そもそも私自身が超初心者なので、こんなものなのかも。と思ってます。

I heard that silk yarns are easy to slip and break before. Now I think so. But, I'm a beginner and my tecniques are poor. Therefore, my knitting level would be a critical reason to break the yarn.

あとは色ムラ。モニターしている糸は濃い色なので目立つのもあるけど
手染めだし、あっても当然だと思ってます。
ただ、人それぞれなので、気になる方には気になるのかなと思うレベルです。
写真載せておくので、参考までにどうぞ。ちなみに私はこの色の感じは好きです。

Next is unevenness of coloring.
The testing yarn dyed very deep blue-green, therefore unevenness points hows more clearly than other pale colors of DyeForYarn. And I think that it's sure that hand-dyed yarns have points of unevenness coloring. However, sensitive people might worry about it. A photo which include a large uneven color part updated below.

 

一方、編み目はかなりはっきりしていて美しいです。
シルクってみんなこんな感じなのかしら？？
逆に出来上がったときに目が揃ってなくて恥ずかしくなるかも。。。

On the other hand, stitches appear very clear and beautiful! Is this feature same as other silk yarns? Therefore I suppose I would feel shame about my work after completing the project.

これからしばらくは2段しかないパターンをひたすら繰り返すだけなので
もう少しペースアップしたいな～。。。

Anyway, I only need to repeat knitting a pattern which consists just 2rows from today for a while. I want to pick up my knitting pace more....

実は昨日は嬉しいことがありました！
Yarnaholicさんのモニターに選んでいただけました～♪
もー、テンションあがりまくりです！！

Yesterday, I heard a amazing news, I was elected a test knitter of Yarnaholic~! Veeery happy---:D

そして今日の午後、糸が届きました～。
私がモニターするのはDyeForYarnのMulberry Silk Ex-parrot。
今回は玉巻きもうまくできて一安心です。

And  a testing yarn arrived in the afternoon. My testing yarn is DyeForWool's Maruberry silk, colorway is EX-PARROT. I could make a ball from the skein well today:)

 
 

これで編むものはPremonitionです。
今編んでるのもPremonition。そしてそっちはDyeForWoolのAlpaca Silkを使用中。
これはもう比べるしかないと言わんばかり。
DyeForブランドは好きだから願ったり叶ったり♪

I'm going to knit Premonition. In addition, I have knitted a same pattern with DyeForWool's Alpaca Silk.This situation is, so to speak, like as a competition of WOOL and YARN.
I like this yarn brand, it is unexpected good luck for me:)


今日は偶然にも仕事がお休みだったので糸と棒針を持って近所のタリーズにGo！

I was off today by chance, I went to a TULLY's coffee shop nearby with a yarn and a pair of needle.

 

私の少ない経験のなかだと、
ピエロさんのコットンニィートを編んでいるときの印象が1番近いかな？
もちろんシルクなので艶やかさはコットンとは全然違います。
艶やかさといったら、最初のつくり目をしていた時
糸がキラキラ光って見えて驚いちゃいました。

In my poor experience, an impression of the yarn resemble Cotton Neat(s) of Pierrot yarn, I think. Surely, the testing yarn is 100% silk, so these yarns are quite defferent, especially shine. In fact, I was surprised that that cast-on stiches seemed to contain silver glitteres as for me.

今はPart Aの途中だけど
今日中にPart D位まで進めておかないと後々辛くはず。
頑張れ、私！！
Now I have knitted Part A. But in my schedule, I need to finish doing until Part D today. Me, enjoy & fight!!

以前、DyeForWoolの糸を買ったという話をちょろりと書いたんだけど
実はそれ、既に届いてます。
ちょうどYarnaholicさんでモニッターさんを募集していたこともあって、
ふと思い出したついでに今日はそのレビューでもしようかな、と。

I wrote before that I had ordered yarns to DyeForWool. They had already arrived and I want to review these yarns today.


元々Morticiaを編むつもりで2plyのアルパカ＆シルクの毛糸をESTYで直に注文。
注文した時は「30日以内に届けます 」みたいな文があったんだけど、
蓋をあけたら1週間足らずで届いていてビックリ！距離を考えたらAmazon級に早い ！

I ordered yarns, Lace // Baby Appaca/ Silk 2ply, in the last of September and received an order confirmation mail, my ordered yarns were going to arrive about 20-30days after my order. But actually, yarns arrived after a week from my order. To Consider a distance, it is so rapid and quick like as Amazon!


色はDying RoseとOpening Pandora’s box。どちらも渋ローズ系です。
上はDying roseを使って編んでいるPremonition、下がOpening Pandora's box。玉巻きに何度も失敗したせいで、毛玉がいっぱいです。

I bought 2skeins and these colorways are ‘Dying rose’ and ‘Opening Pandora's box’. Both are light purple one is brownish, the other is bluish.
Upper photo in below is ‘Dying rose’ which is using to knit Premonition already. Lower is ‘Opening Pandora's box’. I made some yarn balls of it because I fault to wind it up a large ball.



他の糸との比較ができるほど作品数を編んでいないけど、
正直今まで使った糸の中では1番肌触りが気持ち良いかも。
この前のMorticiaはNatural Dye Studioさんの
同じようなシルク×ウール（DAZZLING 2ply lace yarn）を使ったので
これを比較対象にしてみます。
単純にNatural Dye Studioさんとの比較で個人的に感じたことを書いているだけなので、
どちらが上とかそういうところを論じる気は全くないのでよろしくです。

I don’t try many kinds of yarn so as to be able to give an evaluation, but DyeForWool is the most comfortable yarn I’ve ever bought. I used Natural Dye Studio’s yarn(DAZZLING 2ply lace yarn,　I like this yarn) to a previous project, Morticia, so I compare it to DyeForWool's ones.


Natural Dye Studioも気持ち良いけどDyeForWoolと比較すると少し落ちるかな。
潤いというのかな？これがDyeForWoolのほうが上っぽい感じがするんですよね。
（かといってNaturalさんのが悪いわけじゃなく、Naturalさんのもかなり肌触りが良いです）

First, I suppose that Natural Dye Studio’s yarns are comfortable, but dyeforwool’s ones are superior to them. Maybe DyeForYarn’s ones are moister than Natural Dye Studio’s.


あとは割と均等な撚り具合、というのかな。
Natural…は時々太いところ（多分4 5ply位）があったりしたんだけど、
DyeForWoolはそういうところがほとんどないの。ちょっと驚いています。

And equality of thread twisting. DyeForWool’s are approximately uniform, I suppose. But Natural Dye Studio’s sometimes appear thick parts, that’s about 4-5ply maybe.


ただ、DyeForWoolのほうが編んでいて滑りやすい気はしてます。
Naturalのほうがシルク率が高いんだけど、こっちのほうがまだ滑らなかった。
DyeForWoolは油断すると目を落とします。というかよく落としてます。

But, DyeForWool’s are very slippery, so that I often drop stitches from needles. Natural Dye Studio’s are also slippery, but are not as dyeforwool’s.

シルクは割れやすいっていうのをよく目にしていたけど、
うーん…これもDyeForWoolのほうが割れやすいような気がするなぁ。
ただ、編みやすさに影響するほどじゃないけどね。

I heard that silk yarns are very fragile and easy to break. Both yarns which I bought are contains silk, I think DyeForeWool’s are more easy to break but it does not affect the knitting feeling.…

と、感じたことを羅列してみたけど、私にとってはどちらも「良い毛糸」。
今後いろんな毛糸を編んでいくときの基準になってくれるはず。

Itemized the impression of the thread, both of them are nice yarns for me and they will become basic of yarn quality.

そうそう。実は私もYarnaholicのモニッターとして挙手中です。
Premonitionなら仕事をしながらでも爆編みで頑張れば10日程で終わるので、
自分用にこれを作りたい＆いろんな糸を試したいんですよね 。
当たるといいな♪

By the way, I also entered for a tester of Yarnaholic and am going to knit Premonition if I was elected it. It is easy to calculate the pattern for me until completion how long the days are necessary, I estimate approximately 10days needs to finish. I hope elected a tester and want to enjoy knitting~!
